The 2018 Tensas Reunion
Tensasans,
Our time together this past summer was amazing! I want to thank all who supported the reunion; your presence and contributions are greatly appreciated. The time has come for us to plan for our next gathering in Kenner, LA on July 19-21, 2018. The Reunion Committee is looking forward to hosting you! We want to build off the high-spirit that was present at our reunion in Georgia.
Over the years many students from Davidson, Newellton and Waterproof have been increasing in attendance and showing support. In addition to the graduates from Tensas Rosenwald, it is imperative that we continue to join forces to keep the bond of peace growing between us. We are much stronger and better together than we are apart. So, as you read this invitation, please share it with all those within your Tensas-network. We are believing, anticipating, and expecting that our reunion will prosper if we, as stewards, would be faithful and true to our heritage.
Details
Reunion registration is $130 for adults and $80 for children ages 6-14. A late fee of $25.00 will be assessed for all registrations postmarked after May 31, 2018. You may make registration payments by cashier’s check, money order, personal checks, or PayPal via www.tensasreunioninc.com. Please note that personal checks will not be accepted during on-site registration (no exception). There will be a $35.00 fee assessed for all returned checks. Your cancelled checks or money order stubs will serve as your receipt of payment.
Hilton Hotel – New Orleans Airport
The room rate at the Hilton Hotel is $119 per night (excluding resort fees and taxes). The rates are net, non-commissionable and are exclusive of taxes currently at 9.75% state sales tax and a 4.00% city hotel tax. Taxes are subject to change without notice.
Please note: If you do not register for the reunion, you will be charged regular hotel rate at your check-out time. The Hilton Airport Hotel is a non-smoking establishment and does not offer smoking guest rooms.
